Lambeth Friends of the Earth’s Stephen Cowley has driving ambitions. Improvement in the service and quality of the public transport system, including supporting measures, to coax the travelling public out of their cars. Within this is the absolute requirement that all resources are in place on introduction of congestion charging to ensure that users who decide to leave their cars at home are able to make a smooth transition to public transport.
